| Step 1 – Clear the lock |

Lock the knob and place the Slide Switch in the down position.Remove one of the four AAA batteries and then turn and hold the knob for at least 2 seconds.Re-install the battery. The Lock will beep 16 times.Wait 2 minutes before proceeding (do not touch the button or turn the knob!). | 
| Step 2 – Set the Primary Code |

Turn the Knob, then release when the display shows “0“.With the display flashing “0“, press and hold the Code Button until a “P” is displayed.Release the Button and promptly turn the Knob to enter the new Primary Code (do not let the display turn off when entering the code).Test the Primary Code. You should get a flashing “0” which means the Primary Code is correct and that the Alternate Code must still be entered. | 
| Step 3 – Set the Alternate Code |

Place the Code Select Switch in the up position and re-enter the Primary Code. When the flashing “0” appears, press and hold the Code Button until a “P” is displayed.Release the Button and promptly turn the Knob to enter the new Alternate Code (do not let the display turn off).With the Switch up, both codes will work. With the Switch down, only the Primary Code will work. |

Instructions for Version 2  (4 steps)
| Step 1 – Clear the lock (if you know the existing code, you may go to step 2) |

Remove one of the four AAA batteries and then press and hold the Code Reset Button for at least 5 seconds.Re-install the battery. The Lock will beep and the Primary Code will now be reset to 3-1-3 and the Alternate Code to 2-0-2. | 
| Step 2 – Set the Primary Code: | 
| 
Press and release the Code Button (the lock will beep and the display bar willflash “– – “).
While the bar is flashing, enter the Primary Code (3-1-3 if you just cleared the lock). The lock will flashback the current Primary Code followed by a flashing “P“.Enter a new Primary Code and release the knob. The display will now flashback the new Primary Code and begin flashing “P” again.If you are satisfied with the code, press the Code Button to accept. If not, then enter another new code and press the Code Button after the flashback to accept. | 
| Step 3 – Set the Alternate Code: |

Once the Primary Code is accepted, the display will replay the Alternate Code (2-0-2 if you just cleared the lock) and then flash an “A“Enter a new Alternate Code and wait for the replay followed by the flashing “A“.When you are satisfied with the code, press the Code Button to accept.Once the Alternate code is accepted, the display will begin flashing the Display Speed (“3” if you just cleared the lock). | 
| Step 4 – Set the Display Speed: | 
| 
To increase the display speed increase the number, and to decrease the display speed decrease the number (9 is fastest, 1 is slowest).Once the speed is set, press the Code Button to end the programming. |
